Service Teams

Jesus said that He did not come to be served but to serve (Matthew 20:28). One of the letters to an early church, includes the call to “serve one another in love” (Galatians 5:13). The call to serve needs to not only work out in our families, neighbourhoods, places of work and study, but in our church life too. There are some great opportunities to serve at ICL:

Children’s team – helping with translation, craft activities, being ‘extra’ adult eyes, helping lead worship, teaching a lesson. Contact Helen Vince: helen@ichurchleiden.nl

Hospitality team – setting up and serving drinks/cookies, helping set up for special events. Contact Manuela Sweany (info@ichurchleiden.nl)

Nursery team – helping with child care of young ones, bringing simple Bible teaching for the older ones in the group. Contact Henk Marsman (henk@ichurchleiden.nl)

Multi-media team – running sound board or laptop on Sundays, helping produce DVD clips to advertise events. Contact Paul Selier (info@ichurchleiden.nl )

Prayer Team – meeting before the service to pray for ICL, the city, the nation.... Also available to pray for people after the service. Contact AndyVince (andy@ichurchleiden.nl)

Welcome team – being on the door to greet people as they arrive, providing first time visitors with ICL information. Contact Mario Weinburg (info@ichurchleiden.nl)

Worship Team – playing in the band, singing, helping set up the equipment. Contact Shirley Workala (shirley@ichurchleiden.nl)
