Outreach
Our aim at ICL is that all of our activities are open to those who want to find out more about Christian faith, but may not consider themselves to be Christians at present.
During the year, ICL does put on specific outreach events such as at Christmas, Easter and beach activities (in the summer of course!!). Yet we feel that the best way to help others have the opportunity to connect with Jesus is through our lives.
Life Groups - some small groups are designed with outreach in mind. If God has laid a certain group of people or type of ministry on your heart, speak with the leadership about starting such a Life Group. Check out the Life Group section to see the current offering.
Alpha - happens once or twice a year. An opportunity to explore the claims of Christian faith
Student Alpha - happens at different times during the university year.
Serve the City Leiden - a new initiative partnering with other churches such as Crossroads Leiden in order to practically serve together to express Christ's love. See www.stcleiden.nl
Missions Trips - we also believe in giving of our time, prayer and finances to sending teams to help with outreach elsewhere. In 2011, teams went to help with building renovation for a church plant in south Wales UK and as part of an outreach partnering various local churches and Convoy of Hope in Cergy-Pontoise, France.
