Prayer

The Bible says, “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful” (Colossians 4:2). Underlying all of our activities is a desire to honour Jesus in our lives. Prayer is very important in the life of ICL as part of our connecting with Him. Prayer happens before and in our Sunday gatherings and in our Life Groups. There is a monthly prayer meeting where we pray for topics like the city and the nation. We also have times of prayer and fasting as a community.

SUNDAY PRAYER GATHERING - every other week at the school at 10 am, classroom at the bottom of the stairs.

Once a month there is an early morning prayer gathering, 0630 at Papengracht 28 in Leiden. Next one is on January 18th.

Prayer also happens in life groups.

Every quarter or so there is an ICL week of prayer and fasting. Next one is Sunday 15th January until Saturday 21st January 2012.

We connect in with citywide prayer gatherings such as the National Day of Prayer initiative and also the local leaders prayer network.
